Open Archaeology journal invites manuscripts for the Special Issue on Bioarchaeology.

This issue highlights new bioarchaeological research that creatively combines various scientific methodologies and theoretical perspectives, in reflexive, humanistic ways, to address the overall complexity of the human experience, in life and in death, from prehistory to the present.

Bioarchaeologists are in a unique position to study and reconstruct the biocultural histories of human populations. Various new analytical techniques are presented, often having been adopted from other disciplines.
