CALL FOR PAPERS 3rd Workshop on Dependability and Interoperability in Heterogeneous Clouds DIHC15 http://dihc2015.inria.fr in conjunction with Euro-Par 2015 http://www.europar2015.org August 24th-28th, Vienna, Austria ********************************************************************** SCOPE The cloud computing market is in rapid expansion due to the opportunities to dynamically allocate a large amount of resources when needed and to pay only for their effective usage. However, many challenges, in terms of interoperability, performance guarantee, dependability, and privacy should still be addressed to make cloud computing the right solution for companies, research organizations and universities. The workshop aims at bringing together researchers from academia and industry and PhD students interested in the design, implementation, and evaluation of services and mechanisms for dependable cloud computing in a multi-cloud environment. This year edition of the workshop will focus more on aspects related to the convergence of mobile cloud with infrastructure cloud providers, on privacy & security aspects important for end-users and SMEs to enter the cloud market, and on the standardization effort on cloud computing. TOPICS OF INTEREST Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: - Mobile cloud computing - Service Level Agreements in clouds - Trust and reputation in cloud computing - Security and privacy aspects in cloud computing - Availability of cloud services - Reliable cloud computing - Dependable performance for cloud applications - Federation of heterogeneous clouds - Design of dependable multicloud applications - Interoperability - Resource Management and virtualization - IaaS and PaaS business models - Cloud standards and best practices PAPER SUBMISSION Authors are invited to submit original papers, that have not been published in or submitted to other workshops, conferences or journals. Submitted papers must be written in English, formatted according to the LNCS guidelines, and they must not exceed 12 pages. Paper submission will be done through EasyChair. (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=europar2015ws) DIHC - Dependability and Interoperability in Heterogeneous Clouds INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS Submission of the paper implies that should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors must register and present the paper at the workshop. Accepted papers that are presented at the workshop, will be published in a special Euro-Par Workshop Volume in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series after the Euro-Par conference.
