International Conference on Applied Research in Computer Science and Engineering (ICAR’15)
October 8th and 9th -2015, Université Antonine and Université Saint-Joseph - Lebanon www.upa.edu.lb/icar15 Scope ----- “The International Conference on Applied Research in Computer Science and Engineering - (ICAR’15)” Research efforts involving several disciplines in particularly computer science and engineering are going beyond expectations but in many occasions remain at a theoretical level. It goes without saying that one of the primary purposes of research is the application of knowledge to serve the global society. Many companies are learning that in order to further their growth and innovation they need to partner with scientists and researchers to develop proper mechanisms that convey the emerging advances of modern research. With this in mind, ICAR ‘15 aims to bring together scientists of the computer science and engineering disciplines to share and exchange knowledge, experience and results, particularly in applied research that may help meet the needs of local industries and academic institutions. The ICAR’15 is more than just an international conference, but rather an academic platform, to discuss research and publications among young and talented students, scientists, engineers, and professionals. It offers an opportunity for participants to meet with experts and discuss cutting-edge approaches, insights that address the revolutionary aspects of nowadays technologies. ICAR’15 seeks contributions in the following areas: Topics ------- Algorithms Artificial Intelligence Automated Software Engineering Anonymization Techniques Bioinformatics and Scientific Computing Biomedical Engineering Big Data Analytics Big Data Applications Big Data Management Big Data Case Studies Cloud Computing Architectures Cloud Migration and Configuration Cloud Virtualization and Provisioning Cloud Security and Privacy Compilers and Interpreters Computational Intelligence Computer Animation Computer Architecture & VLSI Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems Computer Games Computer Modeling Computer Networks Computer Security Computer Simulation Computer Vision Computing Ethics Computing Practices & Applications Data Communications Data Compression Data Encryption Data Hiding Data Mining Databases Digital Library Digital Signal Processing Distributed Systems Event Driven Programming Expert Systems Green Computing High Performance Computing Image Processing Information Retrieval Information Systems Information Security Mobile Computing Multimedia Applications Natural Language Processing Network Computing Network Security Parallel and Distributed Computing Performance Evaluation Reconfigurable Computing Systems Security & Cryptography ICAR’15 will include keynote sessions hosting international experts to present and discuss state-of-the-art technologies and techniques, research sessions allowing researchers to present their research results, a tutorial session and a poster session allowing selected computer science and computer engineering students to present and promote their final year projects.
