Influence Theory in Smart Environment (SMARTINFLUENCE 2015)
Introduction Influence theory, originally developed in social psychology, deals with changes in behaviour of an entity because of its social interactions. This principle appears relevant to be used in system computing, as it was recently introduced in wireless networks. Nowadays, Internet of Things brings together thousands of communicating objects including people themselves. In this context, the purpose of this special session is to study how the interactions between objects influence decision-making. This workshop aims at bringing together the community of researchers working on this topic in order to identify the various influence models and their applications, initiate exchanges and collaborations around the subject and to define the challenges and prospects. Topics of interests The following topics are considered to be in line with the special session, but are not limited to: Models and applications of influence theory in IoT Influence through agent ignorance (or lack of information) Smart environment optimisation through influence Reliability in smart environments under influence Information for authors The submitted papers should present results of original and unpublished research. The papers will be reviewed by the CYBCONF 2015 International Program Committee. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and will be included in the conference proceedings. Papers must be prepared using IEEE templates for conference proceedings. All papers must be submitted electronically via the conference submission system. Important dates Paper submission: March 20, 2015 Notification of acceptance: April 15, 2015 Final paper submission and Early registration: April 30, 2015 Conference: June 24-26, 2015 Organizers Dr. Yazid BENAZZOUZ Univ.
