You are invited to submit a contribution in the form of a short paper

The First edition of the Florence SWIF will focus on a multidisciplinary approach for the analysis of well-being sustainability in relation to the food sector and it will be held in Florence on 4-6 June 2015 as one of the official Expo2015 events.

You are invited to submit a contribution in the form of a short paper (maximum length is 25.000 characters -including spaces and references) to be selected for presentation and publication in the proceedings (with pending Scopus and ISI indexing) and in special issues of indexed journals.

The Forum will host an opening plenary session with the contribution of Jean-Paul Fitoussi and the participation of high level representatives in the fields of ethics, business, labour and governance followed by parallel sessions with specific topics related to Life Styles, Environment, Territory and Wine.

Main Topics
The issue of the sustainability of well-being will be dealt with in relation to economic, social, political and environmental aspects. In particular, the first edition of the Forum will focus on the role of Food Systems in the sustainability of well-being, with the “Food for Sustainability and not just food” issue being the bridge to the Expo2015 thematic area.

Lifestyles, environment, territory and wine will represent specific areas for in-depth analysis of the general topics, and each of them will be the subject of parallel sessions that will cover both socio-economic and technological aspects.

The papers presented both in the plenary session and in the parallel sessions will focus on these major issues and may include but not be limited to the following specific key-words:

Sessions
Parallel sessions on Life Styles, Environment, Territory and Wine will be held on the second day.

The parallel sessions will provide an opportunity to deepen the analysis of connections between Food Systems and the Sustainability of Well -being in relation to specific topics. In particular, each session will be divided in two moments (sub-sessions): the first one will deal with socio-economic issues and the second one will be focused on scientific and technological aspects.
