Call For Papers

Dear Colleague,

Please find in this email the 7th International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence Technologies and Applications (ICCCI'15) Call for Papers. We really appreciate if you could distribute the call among your colleagues and peers who may be interested. We also hope that you, and your group members, find ICCCI'15 attractive to submit your work.

This new edition of ICCCI conference will be held in Madrid next 21st - 23rd September, and it is is organized by Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Wrocław University of Technology. We are really waiting to receive your contributions, and to have the opportunity to share some interesting working days in Madrid.

Computational Collective Intelligence Technologies and Applications
ICCCI 2015 (

This conference will be held on September 21st – 23rd, 2015 in Madrid, Spain. The conference will provide an informal and engaging environment for discussing cutting-edge and emerging technologies on semantic web, computational intelligence, and multi-agent systems.

Computational Collective Intelligence is most often understood as an AI sub-field dealing with soft computing methods which enable making group decisions or processing knowledge among autonomous units acting in distributed environments. Web-based systems, social networks and multi-agent systems very often need these tools for working out consistent knowledge states, resolving conflicts and making decisions. The aim of this conference is to provide an internationally respected forum for scientific research in the computer-based methods of collective intelligence and their applications in (but not limited to) such fields as group decision making, consensus computing, knowledge integration, semantic web, social networks and multi-agent systems. ICCCI 2015 is organized by Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Wrocław University of Technology.

Methodological, theoretical and practical aspects of computational collective intelligence such as group decision making, collective action coordination, knowledge integration, understood as the form of intelligence that emerges from the collaboration and competition of many individuals (artificial and/or natural). The application of multiple computational intelligence technologies such as fuzzy systems, evolutionary computation, neural systems, consensus theory, etc., to support human and other collective intelligence and creation of new forms of CCI in natural and/or artificial systems. Three areas of research, while not exclusive, are of particular attention: semantic web (as an advanced tool increasing collective intelligence), social network analysis (as the field targeted to the emergence of new forms of CCI), and multiagent systems (as a computational and modeling paradigm especially tailored to capture the nature of CCI emergence in populations of autonomous individuals). In addition to the Main Track, ICCCI offers Special Sessions and Workshops for selected topics in the conference scope. There will be a Doctoral Track offering students the opportunity to exchange experience and to discuss work in progress and almost finished dissertations.
