Call For Papers | |||||||||
The 4th Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing (MECO 2015) is a continuation of very successful MECO events. It is an International Scientific Forum aimed to present and discuss the leading achievements in the modeling, analysis, design, validation and application of embedded computing systems. MECO 2015 will provide an opportunity for scientists, engineers and researchers to discuss new applications, design problems, ideas, solutions, research and development results, experiences and work-in-progress in this important technological area. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Software and Hardware Architectures for Embedded Systems; Systems on Chip; (SoCs) and Multicore Systems; Communications, Networking and Connectivity; Sensors and Sensor Networks; Mobile and Pervasive/Ubiquitous Computing; Distributed Embedded Computing; Real-Time Systems; Adaptive Systems; Reconfigurable Systems; Design Methodology and Tools; Application Analysis and Parallelization; System Architecture Synthesis; Multi-objective Optimization; Low-power Design and Energy Management; Hardware/Software Simulation; Rapid prototyping; Testing and Benchmarking; Micro and Nano Technology; Internet of Things; Organic/Flexible/Printed Electronics; MEMS; VLSI Design and Implementation; Microcontroller and FPGA Implementation; Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems; Cloud Computing in Embedded System Development; Digital Filter Design; Digital Signal Processing and Applications; Image and Multidimensional Signal Processing; Embedded Systems in Multimedia and Communications; Consumer Electronics; Wearable Health Care; Emergency and Disaster Management; Identification and Supervision Systems; Industrial, Bio-Medical, Automotive and Avionic Systems; Embedded Robotics, Instrumentation and Measurement; Embedded Systems in Energy Efficiency, etc. You are also kindly invited to participate in three new workshops in highly relevant areas associated with MECO and ECYPS: BIOEMIS’2015: 1st Workshop on Biomedical Education, BIOICT’2015: 1st Workshop on Bio-Informatics. MECO-Student Challenge 2015: Distinguished student papers BIOEMIS’2015 will address education in a very important area of biomedical engineering, including curricula design, research achievements and new approaches related to education in this field. Emphasis will be given to the variety of embedded systems applied in bio-medicine. Also it will be opportunity for disseminating results from the biomedical engineering related projects. It is an ideal forum for sharing ideas; learning about developments in biomedicine, and related computer science, engineering, and technology education; and interacting with colleagues in these fields. BIOICT’2015 will address all aspects of modern information and communication technologies application in bio/life sciences and technologies, including, but not limited, to medicine, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, ecology, pharmacology, etc. Bio-informatics is an interdisciplinary scientific field that builds on several other disciplines: mathematics, physics, computer science and engineering, biology, behavioral sciences, etc. In order to achieve its full potential, it should be tightly coupled with the science of living systems. Bio-informatics applies the results of information sciences and technologies to make the diverse and complex data encountered in the science of living systems more understandable and useful. MECO-Student Challenge 2015 will present outstanding student papers. MECO’2015, ECYPS’2015 are co-sponsored and supported by IEEE, EUROMICRO, University of Montenegro, Eindhoven University of Technology, MANT, Ministry of Science of Montenegro and several other organizations and universities. And this year conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. All previous MECO proceedings were included in this databases. To encourage participation of young scientists, as well as, colleagues from developing countries, MECO and ECYPS are high-quality, but low-budget events. Since involvement of young scientists is one of our main goals, we would be very grateful if you would encourage young researchers to participate to our events. Finally, we ask you kindly to publicize the MECO and ECYPS events among your colleagues, and this way to support us in making these events useful, worthy and memorable once. Prospective participants can find more information about topics, place, deadlines, submitting, fees and travel at our web site. Some of them are summarized at: MECO’2015 Call for Papers (PDF file, 437kB) We wish you good preparation of MECO contributions and Welcome to Budva. Sincerely yours, Chairs of MECO 2015 Radovan Stojanovic, University of Montenegro, Montenegro Lech Jóźwiak, Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands Drazen Jurisic, University of Zagreb, Croatia |
