Call For Papers

The IV Spanish Parallel Programming Contest will celebrate online, September 18th, 2014, from 15:30 to 20:00 (Spanish hour) as part of the Jornadas Sarteco (http://www.jornadassarteco.org/), to celebrate in Valladolid, Spain.

Teams of one or two students and one lecturer-manager. The students will be university students (first or second cycle degree, master or doctorate) with a maximum age of 28 at the time of registration. The university lecturer who will act as coach and is responsible for the correct team participation in the test.

Non-Spanish teams are allowed to participate in exhibition form (without prize).

The contest consits of the parallelization with OpenMP, MPI or CUDA of sequential codes.
The score is based in the speed-up with respect to the sequential version provided by the organization.
