Call For Papers

The IEEE 2009 Workshop on Signal Processing Systems (SiPS 2009) will be held in Tampere Hall, Tampere, Finland on October 7-9, 2009. SiPS is a major international forum for discussion of new technology progress and innovations in the design and implementation of digital signal processing systems. Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts on topics including, but not limited to:

* Design Methodologies and CAD Tools for Signal Processing Systems

* Low-Power Signal Processing Circuits and Architectures

The SiPS conference theme for 2009 is Signal Processing on System-on-Chip. The workshop program will include keynote speeches, contributed papers, oral and poster sessions, as well as best student paper awards. Awards ceremony will take place during the event and awarded papers will be listed on the submission page. Authors should submit a PDF version of their papers through the web based submission system.

As the most populous inland city in the Nordic countries Tampere provides great opportunities for both business and pleasure. The city and its proximity are well served by public transportation. Tampere is renowned for its industrial history and technological leadership. Industrial milestones of the city include the first light bulb ever lit in the Nordic countries as well as the first ever made cell phone call in the world. Today, Tampere is the proud host of excellence and innovation in the area of signal processing.
