Call For Papers

We are looking for relevant articles to forthcoming special issue of the peer-reviewed scientific journal Acta Informatica Pragensia on the interdisciplinary oriented topic of online marketing. We welcome to the reviewed section both - research studies and background research. We invite authors who would like to contribute to special issue to send texts in Czech, Slovak or English.

Research topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- Methods and models for managing online marketing activities.
- Market Intelligence, Competitive Intelligence, and Business Intelligence as decision support in marketing practice.
- The problem of analysing and measuring the success of marketing campaigns carried out in the environment of internet-based services (social media, online advertising systems, discussion forums, virtual marketplaces, etc.).
- Specifics of marketing communication in the physical and online environment.
- The studies focused on the use of social media by organizations for marketing purposes (e.g. comparative case studies).
- Ethical and legal aspects of online marketing activities of organizations.

Important deadlines:
November 1, 2014 - Deadline for submission of full texts to the reviewed section (Peer-reviewed papers).

December 19, 2014 - Deadline for submission of full texts to the non-reviewed section (Trends - Miscelanea, Reflections and Book Reviews).

December 31, 2014 - Special issue of the journal Acta Informatica Pragensia will be published.


The peer-reviewed scientific journal Acta Informatica Pragensia (ISSN 1805-4951) is platform for publishing papers in the field of computer science (informatics), in non-reduced conception and including inter- and transdisciplinary character.
