2nd Workshop on Semantic Web and Linked Open Data (SW-LOD 2014)
Ocotlan, Oaxaca, Mexico. November 5th, 2014

Co-located with ENC 2014

2nd SW-LOD is a forum for the semantic web and linked open data communities, where practitioners in industry, academia and others
interested in these topics are welcome for describing real and potential applications, share experience and discuss the latest
scientific results and technology innovations around semantic technologies and linked open data.

The goal of 2nd SW-LOD is not only to create an interlinked web of knowledge on these topics in Mexico, but also to network with
international and consolidated communities. This aim requires the collaboration of many disciplines (topics below) and the
workshop trying to be a forum to encourage participants to work together and establish some kind of collaboration. We encourage
both the participation of national and international communities.

In this version, the workshop will feature a plenary discussion on emerging trends in semantic web and linked open data between participants in order to consolidate a community about this topics or establish some kind of collaborations. The conclusion
of this will be shown during the ENC conference. We encourage industry, academia, Master and Doctoral students to participate in this workshop.

The workshop welcomes contributions in current trends in semantic web and linked open data, including, but not limited to:

--Knowledge Representation
--Languages, tools, and methodologies for ontology engineering
--Natural Language Processing applied for the Semantic Web
--Advances in Artificial Intelligence Methods and Techniques for the Semantic Web
--Search, query, integration, and analysis on the Semantic Web
--Semantic integration of data, multimedia and services
--Semantic Web Services
--Semantic Web Development Tool
--Ontology engineering and ontology patterns for the Semantic Web
--Ontology sharing and reuse
--Cloud computing and the Semantic Web
--Semantic Web and Linked Data for Cloud environments
--Management of Semantic Web data and Linked Data
--Interacting with Semantic Web data and Linked Data
--Information visualization of Semantic Web data and Linked Data
--Semantic Web technologies for eGovernment, eEnvironment, eMobility or eHealth

Papers will be peer reviewed ("double-blind review policy") by a program committee, and they should be written in English, be original, unpublished work and formatted according to the IEEE format:

The workshop welcomes:

* Abstract/Poster Papers: describe research roadmaps (similar to PhD plan, PhD
prospectus or Industrial prospectus). The maximum number of pages is 2. A Poster track during the Workshop is considered. The oral presentation will be 15 minutes.
* Position Papers: describe works with complete results. Paper will be limited to 4 pages. The oral presentation will be 25 minutes.

All accepted papers will be published as a track of the Mexican International Conference on Computer Science (ENC) proceedings (ISBN)
and will be made available online. Selected papers will appear in CyS journal indexed in science citation databases: Scopus,SciELO to mention a few.

All submissions must be made online using the EasyChair conference system:
