Call for Abstract Submissions and Organised Session Proposals

You are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation at the Conference.

Conference Abstract Theme
"Examining the Past and Contemplating the Future – 20 Years of Priority Setting"

Without wishing to be too prescriptive, the Organising Committee for our 2014 Conference in Melbourne, would welcome abstracts or proposals for organised sessions that addressed:

- Methods for priority setting, including deliberative methods such as citizens' councils, citizens' juries, mini deliberative publics, deliberative democracy, etc.
- Case studies in priority setting, with a focus on both setting priorities and implementing priorities. Settings for these case studies would include: i) developing country context; ii) non-health sector interventions that impact on health (or vice versa); iii) disease/risk factor specific studies; iv) international/regional context; and v) institutional settings (disability care providers; hospitals; community health; etc.).

Other elements of the Conference are also under consideration, including how best to address our theme and update the priority setting experience at the country level. More on this latter, together with an exciting list of Keynote Speakers!
