UPDATE!!! IEEE HAVE 2014 Doctoral Consortium Call posted!
http://have2014.ieee-ims.org/content/ieee-have-2014-doctoral-consortium

The Doctoral Symposium will provide PhD students working in all areas of haptic, audio-visual environments, with a unique opportunity to interact with renowned and experienced researchers in the field, and discuss with them about their ongoing research. The Doctoral Symposium also aims at establishing a supportive worldwide community of doctoral students working on haptic, audio-visual environments, and promoting social and intellectual interactions among students and researchers from academia, industry and government. The mechanism is simple: PhD students are invited to send a short paper related to their ongoing research. A program committee will review the submissions, and decide upon the rejection or acceptance of the papers. Accepted papers will be discussed in an oral or poster session.

Important dates
Doctoral Symposium submissions due: August 15, 2014
Notification of acceptance: August 31, 2014
Camera-ready submission: September 19, 2014
