Journal of Intelligent Systems =================== Call for Paper Special Issue: Intelligent Healthcare Systems ======================================================================= During the past two decades, innovations in medical systems have revolutionized the way in which healthcare services are provided. This paradigm shift has supported governmental agencies and other stakeholders in providing more efficient treatments at a better cost. Nonetheless, the challenge of making intelligent healthcare systems is still of the utmost importance. This special issue aims at providing a platform to researchers in sharing their knowledge and experience regarding novel and impactful designs for intelligent healthcare systems. Given the interdisciplinary nature of the field, we welcome original contributions from computer science and information technology researchers as well as health care practitioners or public health scientists. ======================================================================= Recommended topic areas include, but are not limited to: Acquisition, management and visualization of health data Clinical decision support systems Healthcare communication networks and environments Healthcare modeling and simulation Intelligent health records Management of workflow and capacity Medical data mining Ontologies in healthcare Patient care, monitoring and diagnosis Tele-health and tele-monitoring Submission Guidelines: Submitted papers must present original research, which is neither published anywhere else nor under any simultaneous consideration in any other place. A professional level of English is expected for all submissions.
