Call For Papers

The Second International Conference on
Mining Intelligence and Knowledge Exploration (MIKE 2014)

December 10-12, 2014, University College Cork, Cork, Ireland

CALL FOR PAPERS
----------------

Human Intelligence has evolved steadily over several generations and in modern days,
human expertise is excelling much better in individual domains and knowledge
acquiring tasks. So Mining Human Intelligence becomes an essential and incredible part
of human expertise / knowledge exploration.

MIKE 2014 is an initiative for the international meeting on research and applications on
various topics of Human Intelligence Mining and Knowledge Discovery. The primary
goal is to present the state-of-art scientific results, to disseminate modern technologies and promote collaborative research in Mining Intelligence & Knowledge Exploration.

TOPICS
--------

Eventhough this year, we have a special focus on Learning to explore Business Intelligence in the data that are obtained from different sources, Authors are invited to submit papers that propose new computational approaches in mining human expertise and its usage in the following topics (but not limited to):

Advances in Machine Learning
Algorithms for Intelligent Learning
Analogical, cognitive, and creative reasoning
Case Based Recommender Systems
Collective Learning and Tagging
Context aware techniques
Cross / Multi Language content mining
Distributed Mining of Human expertise
Dynamics of Complex/Social Networks
Events Extraction in Unstructured Text mining
Experience-based Knowledge Exploration
Uncertainties in Knowledge Exploration
Image Processing and Understanding
Cascade / Imitation Learning
Inference of what a text can afford
Intelligent /Focused Information Retrieval
Knowledge Discovery from Data
Learning theory with Neural Networks
Learning to Data/Text mining
Machine Translation approaches using CBR
Mining Complex behaviors of users
Mining Game Sequences
Mining Info from recommender systems

IMPORTANT DATES
----------------

August 24, 2014 : Deadline for Abstract Submission
August 31, 2014 : Deadline for Full Paper Submission
September 24, 2014 : Notification of Acceptance/Rejection
September 30, 2014 : Camera-ready Submission and Registration

Papers must be submitted online through EasyChair following the submission link:

https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mike2014

and the accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings by Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNCS / LNAI) series

Papers should be maximum 10 A4 pages (including figures and tables) with no details about the authors and their affiliations details to enable double blind review process. Manuscripts must be prepared with LaTex2e (llncs2e.zip) in order to avoid delays in the submission of the final manuscript.
