Call For Papers

The Warren Samuels Prize for Interdisciplinary Research in the History of Economic Thought and Methodology

Research in the History of Economic Thought and Methodology (RHETM) is committed to supporting and encouraging interdisciplinary work in the history of economic thought. This academic prize is intended to promote and reward the best of such scholarship.

The Warren Samuels Prize is awarded to a paper, submitted for publication to Research in the History of Economic Thought and Methodology, that best exemplifies scholarly work that:

1) Is of high quality,
2) Is relevant to the history of economics and / or economic methodology,
3) Has a distinct interdisciplinary character.

The winner of the Warren Samuels Prize receives a $1000 stipend. The selection committee consists of the editorial board of Research in the History of Economic Thought and Methodology

Participants should submit an article for publication in RHETM in the usual way before the end of September 2014, and mention that they would like to be considered for the prize. Prize submissions should not include articles previously published or under consideration elsewhere. Articles that pass peer-review and are accepted for publication will be considered by the editorial board of RHETM and the winner will be announced in mid-2015.
