THE PRECARIOUS ALLIANCE 2014: Energy in Transition
Conceived by College President Dr. Joseph S. The 2014 symposium, subtitled “Energy in Transition, will be devoted to energy-related issues such as fossil fuels and renewables; green design and technology; federal and local energy policy; energy finance and economics; energy consumption and conservation cultures; boomtowns and transition towns; and social and environmental impacts.
Along with papers, panels, workshops, roundtables, and interactive poster sessions, the conference will include a keynote address by Bill McKibben, author of The End of Nature and Eaarth and founder of 350.org, on the evening of April 3, 2014.
