CALL FOR PAPERS

SCOPE
====================================

Rapid advances in Information and Communication Technologies coupled to new requirements of emergent applications such as smart grids, smart cities, e-healthcare, …, urge the development of efficient architectures and innovative solutions to overcome new digital society challenges : big data, security and privacy, energy, etc.

International Conference on Advanced Networking, Distributed Systems and Applications (INDS'2014) is intended to be an excellent forum where both academia and industry experts from different communities (Networking, Distributed Computing, Security, Emergent smart systems, etc) will discuss recent advances in the broad and quickly-evolving fields of computer and communication networks, and to highlight key issues, identify trends, and develop visions for the networking and distributed computing domain.

INDS 2014 will be held at Bejaia , an exciting and historical city located on the south coast of the Mediterranean Sea in Algeria.

The conference sessions will include featured keynotes, tutorials, technical presentations (regular and short papers), posters, as well as demonstrations and doctoral symposium.

Proceedings of the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and IEEE Computer Society Digital Library (CPS Agreement).

Distinguished papers accepted and presented at INDS'2014, after further revisions, will be published in special issues of prestigious international journals.

VENUE
============================================

Béjaïa is a Mediterranean port city on the Gulf of Béjaïa in Algeria. It was the capital for the Berber Hammadid dynasty in the 11th century, and became an important port and cultural center. Fibonacci, learned there Indian mathematics which he called Modus Indorum, Hindu-Arabic numerals, and introduced them and modern mathematics into Europe. Maurice Boitel, a famous French painter, painted in the city for a while, his picture can be found in the museum of Béjaïa.

The town is overlooked by the mountain Yemma Gouraya, whose profile is said to resemble a sleeping woman. It was formerly known under various European names, such as Budschaja in German, Bugia in Italian, and Bougie (the latter two words for candle, derived from the town name because of its wax trade).
