On behalf of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, it is our immense pleasure to invite you to join us in Brisbane, Queensland for the 40th IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP) 2015 to be held from the 19th – 24th April 2015.

On its 40th anniversary, ICASSP is the world’s largest and most comprehensive technical conference focused on signal processing and its applications. The 2015 conference will feature world-class presentations by internationally renowned speakers, cutting-edge session topics and provide a fantastic opportunity to network with like-minded professionals from around the world. Topics include but are not limited to:

Audio and acoustic signal processing
Bio-imaging and signal processing

Conference dates and themes
The conference itself will be held 19th–24th April, 2015. Other important dates, such as for submission of papers, are being finalised and will be announced in due course. ICASSP 2015 will feature a mix of national and international speakers, tutorials, workshops and exhibits. Featuring contemporary research, highly regarded presenters and a focus on translating research into practice the conference is sure to be an exciting event for all who attend.

The Conference Venue
The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is an award-winning venue renowned for its service excellence. The Centre is located in a unique urban cultural and entertainment precinct in the heart of Brisbane. Newly refurbished and extended, the Centre is flanked by Brisbane’s popular South Bank parklands, its museums, theatres and art galleries, the eclectic West End and the bustling Brisbane downtown (CBD).

Brisbane – Australia’s New World City
Brisbane provides a beautiful location for ICASSP 2015 with its picturesque winding river, attractive modern buildings, a thriving retail centre, excellent restaurants and most importantly – year-round pleasant weather.

Brisbane is a diverse city with one of the fastest growing economies in Australia. It is a city of alluring character: from its distinctive architecture (the charming ‘Queenslanders’ and worker’s cottages that line inner-surburban streets) to its swimming beach right in the middle of the CBD.
