Bosporus Research Center is inviting PhD students, academics and any other interested parties to join the symposium on the Changing Nature of Turkey’s International Relations.
The conference is organized around these themes:
• Culture and society
• Economics
• Politics
• History

We welcome papers from postgraduates, post-doctorate researchers, independent researchers, diplomats and journalists. Speakers are invited to speak for 20 minutes on one of the themes listed below.

Please send your -up to 200 words- abstract to the convenors via boreceuk@gmail.com by 31st January 2014. Once papers are selected (by 7th February 2014), BRC expects 4000-7000 word full papers to be submitted by 10th March 2014. Selected will be published in an edited book similar to the previous years. Please do not send us previously published work. Referencing must match to the submission guidelines outlined in our website.
In your abstract please include: Name, academic affiliation, a short biography of the presenter and the abstract of no more than 200 words in Microsoft Word document. BRC will provide the refreshments and lunch during the day. BRC might be able to offer limited amount of funding to cover expenses. Our conferences are accessible for disabled people.Unfortunately we cannot help anyone with visa issues. Any questions can be forwarded to conference team via boreceuk@gmail.com
