The 44th Annual Frontiers in Education (FIE) Conference is a highly-respected major international conference focusing on educational innovations and research in engineering and computing. FIE 2014 continues a long tradition of disseminating results in these areas. It is an ideal forum for sharing ideas; learning about developments in computer science, engineering, and technology education; and interacting with colleagues in these fields. Presentation Formats Proposals for participation in FIE 2014 can be submitted in the following formats: Papers: full paper Papers: work-in-progress (WIP) Special sessions Panels Workshops Each of these formats is described in detail on the conference website. Schedule Paper abstracts must be submitted by February 7, 2014 and a preliminary version of the paper by April 25, 2014. These deadlines will not be extended. All submissions will be peer reviewed by at least three reviewers. If accepted, final versions of the papers as they will appear in the conference proceedings must be submitted by July 9, 2014.Paper Categories FIE welcomes full papers up to eight-pages and work-in-progress papers up to four-pages that address the broad tracks of (1) innovative practice, (2) research-to-practice, and (3) research. Work-in-progress papers are typically in frontier areas where it is understood the work is in an early or intermediate stage and authors are seeking feedback from the community.
