Call for Papers
---------------

Intelligent data analysis includes not only standard approaches and ready solutions to known and widely studied problems, but offers also
- either novel applications of established techniques to complex systems,
- or new methodologies and frameworks proposed to assist in data mining and knowledge discovery.
Intelligent data analysis enables to select these approaches which provide some insight or perspective to patterns in analysed datasets, give the most promising results, and satisfy certain requirements.

The session solicits papers describing original work on all aspects of intelligent support for data analysis, with particular interest in those tailored for specific applications.


Important Dates
---------------

Paper submission deadline 10th March, 2014
Acceptance notification 1st May, 2014
Final version submission 1st June, 2014
Conference dates 15th - 17th September, 2014


Contributions
-------------

All submissions will be refereed by at least two experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity.

Papers must be written in English and prepared according to the detailed KES2014 guidelines (http://kes2014.kesinternational.org/submission.php).

Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper.

Accepted and presented papers conforming to the formatting guidelines and the length of 8-10 pages will be published after the conference in Elsevier's Procedia Computer Science open access journal, available in ScienceDirect and indexed/abstracted in CPCi (ISI conferences), Engineering Index, and Scopus.

NOTICE:
All papers must be submitted in electronic form (PDF format) through the PROSE Online Paper Submission system (http://kes2014.kesinternational.org/prose.php).
For the final version each paper must be accompanied by the source text files prepared in LaTeX.
