Call For Papers

NTTCM'2014 New Trends in Trust Computational Models
June 30 to July 3 2014, Guimarães, Portugal

We are seeking papers describing innovative approaches in
trust representation, modelling and processing. NNTCM'2014
will include technical aspects on how trust can be
modelled and represented in computational environments, by
addressing advances in the theory, design, implementation,
analysis, and application of trust concepts. There is also
interest in knowing how trust methodologies and concepts from
different areas can be transposed and adapted in other fields
scenarios by discussing the advantages and limitations of the
different trust implementations currently being developed.
Focus will be on new and emerging areas such as immersive
environments, cloud services and information systems
reliability, but also on insights from social sciences in
cognitive developments and mediated computational interactions.
We also would like to contribute to consolidate the field of
trust computing by presenting and discussing emergent scenarios
that would benefit from further integration of trust
conceptualizations. We are particularly interested in papers
that relate complementary trust methodologies, using
conceptualizations from different contexts and backgrounds in
the development of new and innovative computational trust
models. We encourage original research contributions in trust
representation, modelling and processing as well as practical
developments and experimental results in trust and related topics.

Relevant topics include but not limited to:

Online Services
Social and Cognitive Developments
Immersive Environments
Computational Conceptualizations
Theoretical Frameworks
Social Networks
Virtual Worlds
Management Models
Augmented Reality
Massively Multiplayer Online Games
Anonymity and Trust
Security Developments

Submitted papers must not exceed 16 pages, be camera-ready and
follow LNCS formatting guidelines.

Workshop Proceedings will be made available at the venue in
electronic format.

The accepted papers presented orally in the Workshop will be
published by Springer-Verlag's, Lecture Notes in Computer
Science series, in the ICCSA'2014 Conference LNCS proceedings
Authors of workshop best papers will be invited to submit an
extended version of their contribution to be published in a
special issue of International Journal of Trust Management in
Computing and Communications (Inderscience Publishers).

The NTTCM'2014 Workshop papers published in a Springer LNCS
volume, will be indexed in the following services:
ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science
(CPCI-S) included in ISI Web of Science,
EI Engineering Index (Compendex and Inspec databases),
ACM Digital Library,
Google Scholar,
Zentralblatt MATH.

Registration and oral presentation at the workshop is
compulsory for at least one of the authors of the accepted

Each paper must be an original and unpublished work, not
submitted for publication elsewhere. Eventual copyright
problems are entirely responsibility of the authors.

Papers will be reviewed by at least three reviewers in order
to ensure the quality and relevance of the publication

Accepted papers must take in account improvements and
recommendations from the referees. They must follow the
formatting guidelines in the preparation of the camera-ready
paper. Acceptance also require that at least one of the
authors will register and present orally the paper in the
workshop. Failure to comply with these requirements, will lead
to remove the paper from the workshop proceedings and will not be
published in the LNCS.
