Brief Introduction to IEEE ICCSE 2014
Since 2006, the International Conference on Computer Science and Education (ICCSE) has been held in Xiamen, Wuhan, Kaifeng, Nanning, Hefei, Singapore, Melbourne and Colombo for eight sessions.

Many internationally renowned experts and IEEE Fellows from the fields of computer, education and control have made brilliant speeches. The visitants and participants include many experts, academics, scientists, technicians and engineers from many well-known domestic and foreign institutions of higher learning, researches and enterprises. These make the conference become a good platform for internationally academic communication. For this reason, the 2008 ICCSE has been listed on "Science meeting on-line" as one of the excellent symposiums, and all the conference report video became the source of "Science meeting on-line" collection.

The 9th International Conference on Computer Science & Education (ICCSE 2014) will be held in UBC, Vancouver, Canada at August 22-24, 2014.

ICCSE 2014 is organized by National Research Council of Computer Education in Colleges & Universities, China (CRC-CE), hosted by Department of Mechanical Engineering, UBC, and technically supported University of British Columbia and IEEE Vancouver Section.

The proceedings of ICCSE 2014 will be published by IEEE, and be included in IEEE Xplore digital library.

Call for Papers
The 9th International Conference on Computer Science & Education (ICCSE 2014) will be held from August 22 to 24, 2014, in University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. The conference is organized by National Research Council of Computer Education in Colleges & Universities, China, and sponsored by the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Vancouver Section.

The University of British Columbia (UBC), established in 1908, is one of Canada’s leading research universities and is consistently ranked among the top 40 in the world. The university attracts 54,000 students from across Canada and 140 countries around the world to two major campuses. The largest campus is 30 minutes from the heart of downtown Vancouver, a spectacular location that is a 'must-see' for any visitor to the city — where snow-capped mountains meet ocean and breathtaking vistas greet you around every corner.

Submission of Papers:
Authors should submit the full version of their manuscripts online through the conference submission system at http://www.yeedao.net .
All materials must be written in English.
The manuscript to be submitted to the conference should contain sufficient details including key concepts and novel features of the work, and must be formatted according to IEEE’s Two-Column Format for Conference Proceedings and be no longer than 6 pages including all texts, references, appendices, and figures. Templates are available at the conference website. Your submissions should be in PDF format which is IEEE PDF eXpress compliant. To make sure the submission is suitable for ICCSE, the authors are strongly recommended to review the papers published by past ICCSEs firstly. For EI/ISI Proceeding indexingtimetable, please refer to past ICCSEs.

Special Issue for Control and Intelligent System:
ICCSE will select 10-15 papers to further enhance and submit to the journal, published by ACTA press, which could be EI index.
