The 2009 IEEE Digital Signal Processing Workshop and Workshop on Signal Processing Education will be held at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort, January 4-7, 2009. The Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort Hotel, off the Southwest coast of Florida, directly on the Gulf of Mexico and south of Naples is perfectly situated for enjoying pristine beaches, water sports and exploring the wetlands of the Everglades National Park. The resort is located just minutes from the Florida Everglades National Park, Caribbean Garden, historic downtown Naples and many of the finest golf courses in Southwest Florida. The Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort hotel is only 55 minutes from Southwest Florida Regional International Airport at Ft. Myers, Florida and 90 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale Florida International Airport. The goals of the workshops are to unite top researchers from around the world to discuss novel signal processing theories and methods, and to bring together world-class educators and thinkers to discuss all aspects of signal processing education. The DSP/SPE Workshops will feature prominent plenary speakers from the signal processing community as well as technical sessions for presenting contributed papers.
