Proposals Submission Deadline: Nov 30, 2013 Full Chapters Due: December 20, 2013 A book edited by Dr. Z.Jin(Zhengzhou Normal University, China & Gyeongsang National University, Korea & University of California, Davis, USA) No publication or submission fee All chapters will be included in the the DBLP Computer Science Bibliography, and indexed by ERIC - Education Resources Information Center, Google Scholar, Cross Ref, ACM Digital Library and sent to be reviewed by Thomson Reuters Book Citation Index. This book will clarify the development path of implicit cognition research and clear thinking for the purpose of exploring the mysteries of human implicit cognition. The research in this field is ascendant. Accompanied by technological innovation and development, researchers are believed to learn more about the resolution and evidence of the cognitive unconscious level. The related research results will make greater contributions to the promotion of peace and harmony in the human life. Target Audience This book is mainly oriented to university students and Researchers and Professors who are interested, and working, in the field of Implicit Cognition. Moreover, the book will provide insights and can serve as both literature at a graduate level and as an overview of the area. Recommended topics include, but are not limited to, the following: 1.Theories, definitions, models, applications, relevant to Implicit Learning, Implicit Memory, and Implicit Social Cognition. 2.The methodologies used to explore implicit cognitive processes, such as IAT, Priming task, fMRI etc. 3.Implicit cognition study on Children, Disabled Persons, Elder Person etc. 4.Implicit–Explicit Relations. 5.Automatic processes and controlled processes of cognitive process. 6.Revisiting the debates on implicit cognition and measurements, such as replication issue in social priming study,IAT's psychometric validity and reliability, Quad Models, etc. 7. Implicit learning of linguistic structures 8. Unconscious awareness of changes in visual perception and the role of attention in multisensory perception 9. Neural basis of consciousness and dynamic unconscious processes 10. Neurophysiological Targets for Cognitive Training in Schizophrenia Submission Procedure Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before Nov 30, 2013, a 1-2 page chapter proposal (300-800 words) clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors of accepted proposals will be notified by Nov 10, 2013 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by December 20, 2013. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
