Call For Papers | |||||||||||||
Big Data presents myriad possibilities for transforming science, engineering, medicine, healthcare, finance, business and ultimately society itself. However, the volume and variety of data mandates development of new approaches and applications grounded in emerging analytics techniques and emerging processing technologies within the Big Data paradigm. This special issue calls for innovative and high-quality papers describing or demonstrating theory and practice of storing, accessing, searching, mining, processing, and visualizing big data in the context of network computing and applications. We encourage original contributions to this special issue in the following areas:
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to): •Algorithms and applications for Big Data •Network architectures to support Big Data analytics •Network and resource provisioning approaches •Network resiliency and availability •Big Data network algorithm and management •Novel programming models •Big Data management and analysis •Big Data analytic applications •Software systems to support Big Data computing •Tools and technologies for deploying and managing Big Data •Parallel and distributed systems for big data storage and analyses •Methods and applications for big data processing and management •Big Data visualization techniques, •Big data preservation and p •Big Data storage and management in the cloud •Big Data reliability assessment •Security and privacy in Big Data Submission Format and Guideline All submitted papers must be clearly written in excellent English and contain only original work, which has not been published by or is currently under review for any other journal or conference. A detailed submission guideline is available as “Guide to Authors” at http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/journaldescription.cws_home/622893/authorinstructions All manuscripts and any supplementary material should be submitted through Elsevier Editorial System (EES). The authors must select as “SI - Big Data-Abawajy” when they reach the “Article Type” step in the submission process. The EES website is located at: http://ees.elsevier.com/jnca/ Requests for additional information should be addressed to the guest editors.
