The International Conference on Applied Science, Technology and Management (ASTeM 2014) aims at a leading international forum. ASTeM brings together researchers from academia, industry and government to present, share and exchange recent results and experiences in both theoretical and experimental research works. The main focus of ASTeM is academic aspects which are required for achieving sustainable development which includes applied science, technology and management. The first ASTeM will be held in Bangkok, Thailand in April 2014.

Papers describing original, previously unpublished novel idea, research work, experimental efforts, practical experiences, and industrial and commercial developments in applied science, technology and management are solicited. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Computer Science and Software Engineering
• Information and Communication Technology Management
• Information Systems and Management
• Applied Statistics and Mathematics
• Operational Research and Logistics Management
• Actuarial Science and Risk Management
• Financial Engineering
• Food and Applied Biosciences
• Biochemistry
• Biotechnology
• Data Mining and Bioinformatics
• Technology Management

Submitted manuscripts should neither have been previously published elsewhere nor currently under review by another conference or journal. The manuscripts must conform to the standard IEEE camera ready format (double-column, 10-pt font) and must be no longer than 8 pages. Submitted papers will be reviewed by the TPC and judged on originality, technical correctness, relevance, and quality of presentation. An accepted paper must be presented at the conference venue by one of the authors registered at the full registration rate. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceeding.

Important Dates:
- Paper Submission Deadline: December 30th, 2013
- Acceptance Notification: February 14th, 2014
- Camera Ready: February 28th, 2014
