Fourth International NOTICE Conference will be held on 5 June, 2013 with the main track of Human-centred Applications, Theory and Educational Aspects. Previous editions focused on Computer Games in Education (2010), Novel Computer Science & Technology Applications (2011) and Computer Science with a Purpose and Human-Centred Information System Design (2012) – all conducted in parallel with co-located Computer Science in Education Workshops.
iNOTICE explores the many facets of computerised system form an interdisciplinary, design-oriented perspective. It seeks to deepen the understanding of design processes aimed at delivering solutions that help in human activities and improve the quality of everyday living. The conference organisers will welcome contributions that address multiple aspects of ICT system design that take into account the complicated nature of human beings, their particular requirements and the need for transdisciplinary problem-solving. This year papers are particularly invited on the following focus areas: Ubiquitous computing Ambient Assisted Living, Computer Graphics Design-based research User-centred design case studies, Mobile and remote learning, Ubiquitous healthcare solutions, Ambient displays, Computer-supported collaboration Context-aware applications Mobile mixed reality Interactive and virtual educational environments Intelligent coaching systems Ambient intelligence Interaction design principles Artificial intelligence for context processing However, more topics traditionally associated with NOTICE conference are welcome.
