The Second Track on Provisioning and Management of Service Oriented Architecture and Cloud Computing (PROMASC'2013)
== 17-20 June, 2013, Hammamet-Tunisia == (http://www.redcad.org/members/benhalima/promasc2013/) Track of the WETICE'2013 Conference (http://www.wetice.org/) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ::Overview:: As the paradigm service-oriented architecture gains more prominence in the development of collaborative applications, the way of management of these applications is becoming a critical feature in order to provide a better quality of service. Cloud Computing is a technology that provides on-demand access to massively scalable resources in the field of Service Computing. The technical foundations of Cloud Computing include service-oriented architecture (SOA) and virtualizations of hardware and software. It has emerged as a new paradigm for deploying, managing and offering collaborative services through a shared infrastructure. Provisioning of SOA and Cloud presents a new set of emerging issues and challenges that are expected to be identified and resolved by the research community. It includes issues of the proposed approaches at several levels: modeling, composition, collaboration, planning, scheduling, monitoring and analysis. This Track intends to provide an effective forum for researchers and industry practitioners to exchange innovative ideas and state-of-the-art research, share experiences and lessons learned from academic research projects as well as real world projects. ::Topics:: Our goal is to bring together researchers and practitioners to facilitate stimulating discussions on the different challenges and requirements of provisioning and management of SOA and Cloud. We are soliciting contributions from both academia and industrials on the following topics (the list is not exhaustive): * Collaborative technologies for QoS Management of SOA and Cloud architectures * Service Virtualization for SOA * Collaborative Management of Virtualized Cloud Resources * Monitoring of Cloud Services * Reconfiguration and recovery of Cloud Services * Modeling and Specification of collaborative Cloud services * Service Level Agreement (SLA) Negotiation, Automation and Orchestration for Cloud Computing * Cloud Federation * Availability and Reliability of Collaborative Cloud * Cloud and SOA Security and Privacy ::Submission:: We encourage contributions of short papers or practical experiences (max 3 pages) and full papers (max 6 pages), including all references and figures, with high quality research contributions and experimental results. Papers should be written in English according to the IEEE format (single spaced, two columns, 10pt, Times font). Authors must upload electronically their papers as PDF file using the PROMASC'2013 submission system hosted by Easy Chair. ::Publication:: All accepted papers will appear in the WETICE 2013 proceedings published by IEEE CS. ::Important Dates:: * Submission deadline: February 11, 2013 (Extended deadline) * Notification: March 15, 2013 * Camera Ready: May 1, 2013 * Conference: June 17-20, 2013 ::Workshop Organizers:: * Riadh BEN HALIMA, ENI-Sfax, Tunisia [riadh.benhalima@enis.rnu.tn] * Hatem HADJ KACEM, FSEG-Sfax, Tunisia [hatem.hadjkacem@fsegs.rnu.tn] * Wajdi LOUATI, ENI-Sfax, Tunisia [wajdi.louati@gmail.com] ::Technical Program Committee Anis Charfi, SAP Research Darmstadt, Germany Claudio Ardagna, Universita degli Studi di Milano, Italy Ernesto Exposito, LAAS-CNRS, France Karim Guennoun, EHTP-Casablanca, Morocco Luis Miguel Vaquero, HP Cloud and Security Lab., UK Lynda Mokdad, University of Paris 12, France Maher Khemakhem, University of Sousse, Tunisia Myriam Lamolle, University of Paris 8, France Ramin Yahyapour, GWDG - Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany Roberto Furnari, University of Torino, Italy Ruben Santiago Montero, Complutense University of Madrid, Spain Steffen Heinzl, SAP Research, Germany Philipp Leitner, Vienna University of Technology, Austria Vladimir Stantchev, University of Berkeley, USA Please visit http://www.redcad.org/members/benhalima/promasc2013/ for more information. |
