Call For Papers

IEEE MSN 2012 provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange research results and share development experiences in the field of mobile ad hoc and sensor networks.

IEEE MSN 2012 will be held in Chengdu, the political, economic and cultural center of western China. Chengdu is also a time-honored city famous for its history, culture and landscapes, which makes it known as the "Country of Heaven". Noted landscapes include E’mei Mountain, one of the greatest legacies of ancient culture and natural resource; Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest stone sculpture of Buddha in the world; Jiu Zhai Gou (Nine Stockaded Gap), one of the greatest natural legacies in the world; Wuhou Temple (the Temple of Martial Marquis) and Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base.

Prospective authors are invited to submit an 8 single-space double-column paper in IEEE style format according to the guidelines available from the conference website at http://conference.uestc.edu.cn/msn12/. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas in mobile ad hoc and sensor networks:

• Multi-hop Wireless Networks and Wireless Mesh Networks

• Sensor and Actuator Networks

• Vehicle Ad Hoc Networks

• Mobile Social Network

• Delay Tolerant Networks and Opportunistic Networking

• Cyber-Physical Systems

• Internet of Things (Protocols, Architectures & Novel Applications)

• System Modeling and Performance Analysis

• Routing and Network Protocols

• Data Transport and Management in Mobile Networks

• Resource Management and Wireless QoS Provisioning

• Security and Privacy

• Cross Layer Design and Optimization

• Novel applications and Architectures

Selected papers of particular merit will be recommended for consideration of fast track publication in special issues of SCI-indexed journals.
