Dear colleagues,
We are setting up a Special Issue on "Metabolic Network Models" to be published in Metabolites (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/metabolites/, ISSN 2218-1989). Given your innovative research and outstanding scholarship in this field, we would like to invite you on behalf of the Guest Editor, Dr. Kyongbum Lee, to publish an outstanding review or full research paper in the Special Issue "Metabolic Network Models" free of charge. Special Issue: Metabolic Network Models Website: http://www.mdpi.com/si/metabolites/metabolic_network/ Guest Editor: Dr. Kyongbum Lee Deadline for manuscript submissions: 31 August 2012 You may send your manuscript now or by the deadline. Submitted papers should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Peer review is commissioned immediately upon receipt of the paper. The paper is published immediately upon final acceptance. If you plan to contribute, please send a short abstract to metabolites@mdpi.com. For review articles, please provide the topic of the review for discussion with the Guest Editor before Preparation. This Special Issue will be fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations as indicated by several studies. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes. More information is available at http://www.mdpi.com/about/openaccess/. Article Processing Charges (APC) are waived for well prepared manuscripts in 2012. However, a fee of 250 CHF may apply if English editing or extensive revisions must be undertaken by the Editorial Office. For details see: http://www.mdpi.com/about/apc/. Please visit the Instructions for Authors before submitting a manuscript: http://www.mdpi.com/journal/metabolites/instructions/. Manuscripts should be submitted through the online manuscript submission and editorial system at http://www.mdpi.com/user/manuscripts/upload/. Metabolites is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal on focusing on molecular aspects of metabolism, relevant to the fields of metabolomics, metabolic biochemistry, biotechnology and medicine, with a focus on metabolites and small molecule biomarkers. For more information, please visit Metabolites' Aims and Scope at http://www.mdpi.com/journal/metabolites/about/. Because it is an online, open access (free to read) journal, papers published in Metabolites will receive very high publicity. Currently, Metabolites is indexed by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and Google Scholar. MDPI publishes several peer-reviewed, open access journals listed at http://www.mdpi.com/. The Editorial Board members, including several Nobel Laureates (http://www.mdpi.com/about/nobelists/), are all leading active scholars. All MDPI journals maintain rapid, yet rigorous, peer- review, manuscript handling and editorial processes. MDPI journals have increased their impact factors, see "2010 Newly Released Impact Factors", http://www.mdpi.com/about/announcements/121/. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
