The University of Murcia is very pleased to host the XXVII Jornadas de Economía
Industrial, which shall take place 13-14th of September 2012 in Murcia, Spain. We
would like to invite all interested researchers in the wider field of industrial
economics to submit their papers. The working language is English


Simon Anderson (University of Virginia) will be the keynote speaker. The two
invited sessions will be chaired by Professor Claude Crampes (Toulouse School of
Economics) and by Professor Hans-Theo Normann (Düsseldorf Institute for
Competition Economics – DICE)


Submission Details


All authors interested in submitting a paper for possible presentation can do so via
the online paper-submission web page.

Submissions have to be done using PDF format files only, with a maximum size of
2MB. No other file formats will be considered. No papers will be processed after the
submission deadline May 17th, 2012.
Authors may submit more that one paper, but ONLY ONE accepted paper will be
allowed PER PRESENTER.
IMPORTANT: Accepted papers will only be included in the final congress programme
if presenting authors have registered by July 15th. It is understood that authors of
accepted papers are willing to act as discussants.


Young Economist Prize


As in last year’s edition of the Jornadas, a Young Economist Prize will be awarded for
an exceptionally original and high-quality paper written by a young researcher, who
has completed his/her PhD not before 2008.

In the case of papers with more than one author, this criterion must be satisfied by
all co-authors. The purpose of the Young Economist Prize is to encourage young
researchers to participate in the conference. If you wish to qualify for the award,
please send an e-mail to jei2012@um.es indicating YEP in the subject.


Papers will be selected by a committee formed by the local organizers and the
members of the scientific committee of Jornadas de Economía Industrial.
