CALL FOR PAPERS
7th Annual South East European Doctoral Student Conference Monday 24th & Tuesday 25th September 2012 Thessaloniki - Greece http://www.seerc.org/dsc2012/ Building on the success of the six previous Doctoral conferences which each attracted over 100 papers from countries all over the SE European region and beyond, we are pleased to announce the organisation of the 7th SEERC Doctoral Conference. The aim of the conference is to further facilitate the exchange of knowledge between young researchers and to consolidate the established network of scholars currently undertaking research in South East Europe. Doctoral students or young researchers in the areas of Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Information & Communication Technologies, Psychology, Politics, Sociology, Education as well as Media and Journalism are invited to attend and present papers related to their doctoral research. The conference will comprise of: 1.Paper sessions 2.Special workshops/training sessions delivered by distinguished academics 3.Panel discussions 4.Social events By participating in the 7th SEE Doctoral Conference you are given the opportunity to: * Present your work in a friendly environment and receive valuable feedback from experts in your field * Further develop your academic and research skills * Strengthen your network with other PhD students as well as with distinguished academics and professionals in your area *Apply for the ‘Best Papers’ Award * Publish your work in the Conference Proceedings * Publish your work in respectable Academic Journals (selected papers only) All papers are peer reviewed. Authors of accepted papers who registered in the conference can have access to the evaluations and possible feedback provided by the reviewers who recommended the acceptance of their papers, so they can accordingly improve the final version of their papers. Non-registered authors will not have access to the reviews of their respective submissions (I’m not sure about this). Depending on the stage of your research, you can submit either a short paper (3-5 pages) or a full paper (8-15 pages).
