The 5th International Conference on Geosynthetics and Environmental Engineering (ICGEE 2027) will be held from March 25 to 27, 2027, on Jeju Island, South Korea.

With the continuous development of global infrastructure and growing attention to environmental protection and sustainable development, geosynthetics, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering are embracing new opportunities. From transportation infrastructure construction to ecological management and environmental restoration, research and technological innovations in these fields continue to expand the boundaries of engineering applications and create new possibilities for the industry.

In 2027, ICGEE 2027 will once again bring together experts, scholars, researchers, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange the latest research findings, share practical engineering experience, and explore emerging trends and future directions in these fields.

This edition also holds special significance for ICGEE. The inaugural conference was held on Jeju Island, South Korea, and after several successful editions, ICGEE will return to the island in 2027. Returning to this familiar island for a new gathering not only reconnects the conference with its roots but also makes this edition particularly meaningful.

We look forward to bringing together scholars and professionals from different countries and regions for inspiring discussions, the exchange of research findings, and the establishment of new academic connections and collaborations.
