The 5th IEEE International Conference on Mobility: Operations, Services, and Technologies (IEEE MOST 2027)
April 4–7, 2027 | Cal Poly Pomona, Pomona, California Conference Website: https://www.ieeemobility.org/index.html Overview IEEE MOST 2027 invites proposals for half-day or full-day workshops to be held in conjunction with the conference from April 4–7, 2027, at Cal Poly Pomona. IEEE MOST is the premier forum for advancing mobility research across land, air, and sea domains. The workshop program aims to foster interactive discussions, present early-stage interdisciplinary research, and explore emerging technological challenges at the intersection of computing, intelligent transportation, physical intelligence, and autonomous operations. Topics of Interest: We solicit workshop proposals covering specialized, emerging, or cross-disciplinary topics complementary to the main IEEE MOST tracks. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to: ●Physical Intelligence & Embodied AI: Physical AI systems, embodied agents, robotics, multimodal perception, and autonomous physical interactions. ●Connected & Autonomous Systems: V2X communications, dynamic path planning, cooperative perception, and fleet coordination across land, air, and sea. ●AI & Edge/Cloud Computing: On-device learning, federated intelligence, real-time edge analytics, and cloud orchestration for mobility platforms. ●Smart Infrastructure & Urban Analytics: Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS), dynamic logistics, public transit optimization, micro-mobility, and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS). ●Cybersecurity, Safety & Reliability: Resilient vehicular architectures, privacy-preserving location services, fault diagnosis, and safety verification. ●Sustainability & Zero-Emission Mobility: EV grid integration, battery intelligence, energy-efficient routing, and smart charging infrastructure. ●Digital Twins & Simulation: Real-time digital twins for traffic modeling, spatial computing, and hardware-in-the-loop simulation environments. Submission Requirements Workshop proposals must be submitted as a single PDF document (maximum 4 pages in standard IEEE format) containing: 1. Basic Information ●Workshop Title & Acronym ●Duration: Half-day (approx. 3.5 hours) or Full-day (approx. 7 hours) ●Organizers: Names, affiliations, contact email addresses, and brief bios (100–150 words each) of all co-chairs. 2. Scope & Rationale ●Abstract: A 150–200 word summary of the workshop. ●Motivation: Statement of purpose explaining why the workshop is timely and how it aligns with and complements IEEE MOST 2027. ●Topics of Interest: List of specific research areas covered by the workshop. 3. Execution & Program Plan ●Session Structure: Proposed format (e.g., peer-reviewed paper presentations, keynote talks, lightning talks, or interactive panel discussions). ●Review Process: Plan for peer review (minimum 3 reviews per paper) and conflict-of-interest management. ●Program Committee: Tentative list of prospective Technical Program Committee (TPC) members. Organizer Responsibilities Organizers of accepted workshops are expected to: 1.Formally issue and distribute the workshop Call for Papers (CFP). 2.Manage paper submissions and peer reviews through the designated submission system. 3.Adhere strictly to the main conference timeline for notification and camera-ready submission. 4.Direct and chair the workshop sessions on-site during IEEE MOST 2027. All accepted and presented workshop papers will be published in the IEEE MOST 2027 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore. Timeline Workshop Proposal Deadline November 25, 2026 Workshop Acceptance Notification December 5, 2026 Workshop CFP Issued by Organizers December 10, 2026 Workshop Paper Submission Deadline January 25, 2027 Paper Acceptance Notification February 15, 2027 Camera-Ready Papers Due February 25, 2027 Submission & Contact Proposals should be submitted via email to the IEEE MOST 2027 Workshop Chairs . ●Email Subject: IEEE MOST 2027 Workshop Proposal: [Workshop Acronym] ●Workshop Co-Chairs: Tingting Chen (tingtingchen@cpp.edu) and Yuhong Liu (yhliu@scu.edu) |
