ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
====================

The International Conference on Digital Transformation in Education and Artificial Intelligence Applications (MoStart 2027) is the fifth edition of this growing international event, building on MoStart 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. The Science Day is its scientific programme: original full and short papers in two tracks, double-blind peer reviewed and presented in person.

MoStart connects academia, industry and educational institutions. It brings together researchers, educators and practitioners to share their work, explore new solutions and discuss the impact of artificial intelligence, smart systems and ICT on education and society. The conference takes place in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, a lively academic and cultural centre. Previous editions attracted over 250 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany and North Macedonia, with a growing number of international contributions.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
=====================

• Only complete scientific papers are considered. Abstracts, extended abstracts and incomplete submissions are rejected.
• Full papers: 12 to 15 pages. Short papers: 6 to 11 pages. References are included in the page count. A limited number of short papers will be accepted.
• Papers are written in English with the official Springer LNCS/CCIS templates (LaTeX or Word). Papers that do not follow the format are rejected without review.
• Reviewing is double-blind: the submitted PDF must be anonymised, without author names, affiliations, acknowledgements or references that reveal the authors.
• Each paper is reviewed by three members of the Programme Committee.
• Papers are submitted on the conference website, separately for each track: https://science.mostart.sum.ba
• Simultaneous submission to other conferences or journals is not allowed.
• Accepted papers are presented as talks in the main programme or in the poster session. Short papers can be presented as posters, and poster papers are published in the proceedings just like talks.
• One author of each accepted paper registers with the paper and presents it in person.

PROCEEDINGS
===========

Previous MoStart proceedings were published in the Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.

FEES
====

Publication fee: 200 EUR per paper, one fee per paper, payable by 21 April 2027. Institutions can be invoiced. The fee is non-refundable. Attending the Science Day is free.
