CALL FOR PAPERS — NGCS 2027
The IEEE International Conference on Next Generation Cyber Security Systems March 15–18, 2027 | San Antonio, Texas, USA and Hybrid. Website: https://intelligent-systems.net/ngcs2027/ Submission: https://conferences.sparcly.ai/NGCS2027 Theme: AI FOR SECURITY & SECURITY FOR AI. NGCS 2027 invites original research and practical contributions at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cyber security, and quantum-ready defense. The conference brings together researchers, security practitioners, AI engineers, and decision-makers to advance intelligent cyber defense, protect AI systems, and strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructures. We welcome contributions addressing the protection of AI models, agents, prompts, and data pipelines; the application of AI to threat detection and incident response; and preparations for post-quantum security challenges. Particular emphasis is placed on rigorous evaluation, validated defenses, and lessons learned from real-world deployments. TOPICS OF INTEREST Topics include, but are not limited to: 1. Security for AI Systems - Adversarial machine learning and model red teaming - Prompt injection, data poisoning, and model extraction - Secure MLOps, agent security, and AI supply chains - Trustworthy, explainable, and privacy-preserving AI 2. AI for Cyber Security - AI-assisted threat detection and alert triage - Machine learning for malware and vulnerability analysis - Autonomous incident response and recovery - Human–AI collaboration in security operations centers 3. Quantum-Ready Security - Post-quantum cryptography and crypto-agility - Quantum-safe identity, authentication, and key management - Hybrid classical–quantum protocols and migration strategies - Long-term confidentiality and harvest-now-decrypt-later risks 4. Secure Software, Cloud, and Infrastructure - Secure software development and continuous delivery - Infrastructure as code and secure cloud-native pipelines - Application security, zero trust, and vulnerability management - Runtime protection, observability, and resilient architectures 5. Threat Intelligence and Incident Response - AI-enhanced threat hunting and intelligence fusion - Incident detection, response, and recovery workflows - Security orchestration and automation - Cyber threat analytics, attribution, and deception 6. Risk, Governance, and Human Security - AI and quantum risk management and decision support - Human factors in secure operations and AI oversight - Resilience planning and incident preparedness - Policy, regulation, ethics, and security governance TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS In addition to original research papers, NGCS 2027 welcomes demos, artifacts, posters, and industrial case studies. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES - Long papers: 7–8 pages. - Short papers and work in progress: 4–6 pages. - Poster papers covering demos or artifacts: 1–2 pages. - Format: A4 IEEE conference template. - Submission format: PDF, including keywords. - Review process: Single-blind; author names and affiliations must remain visible. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not simultaneously under review elsewhere. Authors must provide the full and final author list in the correct order; this list cannot be changed after the submission deadline. Manuscripts must be written in clear English and comply with the prescribed template and page limits. Submit through Sparcly: https://conferences.sparcly.ai/NGCS2027 Author guidelines and templates: https://intelligent-systems.net/ngcs2027/submission.php PUBLICATION Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and attend the conference. IMPORTANT DATES - Paper submission deadline: November 20, 2026 - Notification of acceptance: January 20, 2027 - Camera-ready submission: February 10, 2027 - Conference: March 15–18, 2027 All deadlines are at 23:59 AoE (Anywhere on Earth).
