ICID 2026 will be held in conjunction with the annual conference of the Industrial Design Institution under the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), providing a professional platform for researchers and engineers to exchange advances in intelligent design, engineering technologies, and related interdisciplinary fields.

The primary goal of ICID 2026 is to promote research and development in intelligent engineering systems, including intelligent electromechanical systems, industrial automation systems, and computer-aided engineering design. The conference emphasizes system-level design, integration, and applications across electrical, mechanical, and industrial domains.

ICID 2026 is scheduled to take place in Xi'An, China, from October 23 to 25, 2026.
