Special Issue on AI Agents
This special issue aims to present the latest theoretical advances, methodologies, frameworks, architectures, tools, and applications related to AI agents and multi-agent systems. Topics of Interest include but not limited to: Foundations of AI Agents - Agent architectures and cognitive models - Autonomous reasoning, planning, and decision-making - Agent memory, reflection, and self-improvement - Goal-driven and task-oriented AI agents - Agent adaptation, learning, and personalization - Explainable and trustworthy AI agents Multi-Agent Systems and Coordination - Cooperative and competitive multi-agent systems - Collective intelligence and swarm intelligence - Distributed problem solving and consensus mechanisms - Multi-agent reinforcement learning - Agent communication protocols and coordination strategies - Negotiation, collaboration, and conflict resolution LLM-Based and Generative AI Agents - Large language model agents - Agentic workflows and orchestration frameworks - Tool-using and retrieval-augmented agents - Multi-agent conversational systems - Generative AI for agent reasoning and planning - Human-agent and agent-agent interaction Submission Information Submissions are open now and will be handled on a continuous basis. The Journal's standard peer-review process and revision procedures will be applied to all submissions. Manuscripts for the special issue will receive expedited handling. Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the Journal's submission guidelines and submit their papers through the Journal's online submission system.
