Submit Early, Capacity Limited
In recent years, the INFORMS Annual Meeting has grown significantly, making it difficult to accommodate all the talks submitted. It may be necessary to accept submissions in the order in which they are received if there is not sufficient capacity to schedule all the talks submitted by May 15. Therefore we encourage you to submit early, well before the May 15 deadline.

Abstract Size/Length:
Abstract should be 500 characters maximum (approximately 50 words), title of abstract - 100 characters maximum

Registration opens: 1.6.2013


May 15 – Abstract submission deadline
June 15 – Interactive/poster submission deadline
August 12 – Authors' deadline for final abstract changes
September 3 – Early registration deadline
September 3 –Hotel reservation cut-off date


Submission Guidelines:

As the premier OR/MS conference, INFORMS Annual Meeting 2013 invites submissions in all areas of the field, broadly defined. Only one contributed abstract is accepted from the same presenting author.

Registration Required to Present -
Visa Information:
All attendees, including speakers and session chairs, must register and pay the registration fee. If you need an early confirmation for visa or budgetary reasons, please indicate this in the “Comments” field on the online form.

It may be necessary to accept submissions in the order in which they are received if there is not sufficient capacity to schedule all the talks submitted by May 15. Therefore we encourage you to submit early, well before the May 15 deadline.

Program Online:
Once the preliminary program has been finalized and posted on the Web, all speakers will receive an email directing them to the online program for the date and time of their presentations, registration, A/V, hotel information and other speaker guidelines.

Interactive/Poster Sessions:
The Interactive Sessions, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday during the meeting, provide excellent visibility for posters, with prominent display in well-attended areas of the meeting. Presenters benefit from the interactive critique, suggestions and encouragement from colleagues working in similar areas. A panel of prestigious ORMS leaders will review posters presented for competition, with three prize winners selected each day.
