Software and hardware tools
Applications: hearing aids, cell phones, audio-visual conferencing systems, and voice over IP
New and emerging topics in speech and audio processing
Procedures
Authors are invited to submit original and previously unpublished papers in any of the technical areas relevant to the workshop. A copy of the papers will be published online (at www.iwaenc.org) and on CD-ROM.

Submission: A 4 page final draft of the paper should be submitted online via the workshop website. Please use our LaTeX or Microsoft Word style files for paper preparation. Authors are strongly encouraged to give relevant demonstrations as part of their presentation.

Demonstrators
Besides the regular paper presentations, a separate demonstrator session is planned. For a contribution to this demonstrator session a brief description of the demonstrator should be submitted online via the workshop website. This description will not be included in the workshop proceedings.

BEST STUDENT PAPER AWARD
The IWAENC Technical Committee will award the “Best Student Paper Award” for the best student paper. The selection will be based on originality, scientific merit, and quality of writing and presentation. The paper must be presented by the candidate student to be qualified for the award.
