The Energy Informatics.Academy Conference 2026 (EI.A 2026), taking place from 14-16 October 2026 at Sino-Danish College in Beijing, China, is a leading international forum that brings together researchers, practitioners, and thought-leaders at the intersection of energy systems and informatics. Designed for those seeking more than a traditional paper presentation, the conference emphasizes deep academic exchange, critical discussion, and collaborative research in a focused single-track format.
EI.A 2026 fosters a dynamic environment where energy-related research, digital methods, and institutional feasibility are discussed holistically. Accepted papers are published in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) pre-conference proceedings, ensuring early visibility and wide dissemination of cutting-edge research. The conference is co-hosted with the Summer School in Energy Informatics 2026 (12–13 October), creating a coherent academic continuum that bridges foundational conceptual insights with advanced original research presented during the main conference. EI.A 2026 covers a broad range of topics across both the energy domain (e.g., renewable and distributed energy resources, smart grids and cities, demand response, energy markets) and the informatics domain (e.g., AI and machine learning, big data analytics, IoT and sensors, digital twins, cybersecurity). Participants benefit from extended interaction with peers, session chairs, and keynote speakers through both on-site presentations and optional pre-recorded video presentations that are shared publicly via EI.A channels, maximizing research impact beyond the event itself. EI.A 2026 is part of the Energy Informatics Academy, an international research community dedicated to long-term collaboration and excellence in advancing energy informatics scholarship and practice. |
