For conference (ICIMITAIddmmyy) papers and ACM/IEEE/Springer conference proceedings, the requirements for referencing styles and formatting are given below.

In-text citation style

Use numeric citations in square brackets in the order they appear in the text (for example: [1], [2], ...). For parenthetical citations enclose the reference number in brackets, e.g. [1]. Sequential parenthetical citations should be separated by commas: [1, 2].

When a citation is part of a sentence, the author name is not enclosed in brackets but the citation number is: for example, "So we see that Lee et al. [2000] show ...".

Reference list

Provide a numbered list of references at the end of the paper. Although the list is numbered, entries should be ordered alphabetically by the first author's last name.

Reference examples
Article: [#] Author A., Author B., and Author C. Year. Title of Article. Title of Publication, Vol(Issue), pages. DOI.
Journal article (paginated): [#] Author A. and Author B. 2007. Title of article. Communications of the ACM, 50(1), pp. 36–44.
