This collective book project, coordinated by Awa Ndiaye (Vanier Scholar 2025, University of Ottawa), aims to gather the voices of the global Francophone research community on the doctoral journey. We welcome reflective, critical, and engaged contributions from doctoral students and candidates across all disciplines (STEM, social sciences, arts and humanities, education, etc.).
The book will explore themes such as: - Doctoral training and academic trajectories - Research and knowledge production - Equity, inclusion, and systemic challenges - Interdisciplinary perspectives and epistemic engagement The volume will be co-authored during the doctoral process and aims to promote shared leadership, intergenerational dialogue, and the recognition of emerging scholars. International project (open to all Francophone PhD students worldwide). A postface will be written by a distinguished professor to provide a transversal reading of the issues raised by this new generation of scholars. All accepted authors will receive author guidelines and will be part of an inclusive, collaborative editorial process. The final manuscript will be submitted to a recognized university press.
