20th European Conference on Information Systems, 2012
ECIS is considered the premier information systems event in the European region and provides a platform for panel discussions and the presentation of peer-reviewed academic research. All submissions are double-blind reviewed and recent acceptance rates have been roughly 30% range. The electronic version of the conference proceedings (1993-2008-excluding 1995 and 1998) and full citations (1993-2008) are available publicly.

The first ECIS conference took place in 1993 in Henley-on-Thames, United Kingdom. This year, the 20th European Conference on Information Systems will be celebrated at ESADE in Barcelona Spain. We look forward to a celebration of 20 years of outstanding IS scholarship in Barcelona on June 10-13, 2012.

The conference will be preceded by the Doctoral Consortium, planned to be held from Friday to Sunday. Sunday evening will mark the official start with the Welcome Reception that will be held on Sunday Evening. However, we must note that these dates are provisional and subject to change by the organizing committee

ECIS 2012 is proud to offer a wide range of track themes that celebrate and refine the traditions of the Information Systems discipline, yet also encourage progress in emergent domains. We currently offer over 24 specific tracks that encourage academic rigor and refinement while embracing intellectual risk and exploration.
