**************************************************** CALL FOR PAPER HASCA WORKSHOP In Conjunction with UBICOMP 2025 Espoo, Finland **************************************************** We are pleased to announce the 13th International Workshop on Human Activity Sensing Corpus and Applications. This workshop deals with the challenges of designing reproducible experimental setups, running large-scale dataset collection campaigns, designing activity and context recognition methods that are robust and adaptive, and deploying and evaluating systems in the real world. We wish to reflect on future methods and applications of HAR. The objective of this workshop is to share the experiences among current researchers around the challenges of real-world activity recognition, the role of datasets and tools, and breakthrough approaches towards open-ended contextual intelligence. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: - Data collection / Corpus construction - Effectiveness of Data / Data Centric Research - Tools and Algorithms for Activity Recognition - Real World Application and Experiences - Sensing Devices and Systems - Experience sampling strategies - Unsupervised pattern discovery - Dataset acquisition and annotation through crowd-sourcing, web-mining - Transfer learning, semi-supervised learning, lifelong learning and other approaches that allow open-ended activity recognition - Use and integration of LLM for HAR and in HAR applications Please see our website for more details: http://hasca2025.hasc.jp IMPORTANT DATES Submission Deadline: June 15, 2025 Acceptance Notification: July 16, 2025 Camera-ready: July 31, 2025 Workshop: Oct. 12 or 13, 2025 SUBMISSION FORMAT Submissions are in double-column format, using the following templates: Word: Use the ACM “Word Interim Layout” template LaTeX: Use the “acmart” template.
