We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for BioFor 2025, the 4th International Workshop on Recent Advances in Digital Security: Biometrics and Forensics, which will take place on September 15, 2025, in Rome, Italy, in conjunction with the 23rd International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing (ICIAP 2025).

🔍 The workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of biometrics, digital forensics, and security, with a focus on novel computational methods, privacy-aware systems, and forensic applications.

We invite submissions on topics including, but not limited to:
• Biometrics and soft biometrics
• Forensic behavioral biometrics
• Machine learning and adversarial models for security
• Multimedia forensics and steganography
• Privacy, usability, and ethical aspects in forensic biometrics
• Secure communication and covert channel detection

📅 Important Dates:
• Submission deadline: June 23, 2025 - Extended Deadline
• Notification of acceptance: July 10, 2025
• Camera-ready papers: July 25, 2025

✅ Accepted papers will be published in the Springer LNCS proceedings, and presented orally at the workshop.

For your convenience, please consider that BioFor 2025 paper format is the
same as for the ICIAP 2025 Conference. Therefore, authors can also
download and use the ICIAP 2025 Author Kit. Please note that the
manuscript length is 12 pages maximum (including references).
