Call For Papers

The Seminar on Ontology Research in Brazil (ONTOBRAS) is a consolidated forum for researchers and professionals to share theoretical, methodological, and practical advances in ontology development and application. Since 2005, ONTOBRAS has been recognized as the main scientific event in Brazil dedicated to ontologies and their use across various domains.

The 2025 edition will explore the theme: “The Influence of Ontologies in Generative AI.”
This topic is of high relevance to both academia and industry, as ontologies and knowledge graphs have shown great potential to improve the quality of responses from generative AI systems. The event aims to promote dialogue and cooperation between researchers and practitioners, fostering partnerships and innovation.
