You are invited to submit your chapters to Springer 'Encyclopedia of Engineering Optimization and Heuristics'. The sections are as follows: Single Variable Optimization Methods Swarm Intelligence Neural Networks and Deep Learning Probability Distributions Combinatorial Optimization Multi-objective Optimization Constrained Optimization Optimization Applications Linear Programming Unconstrained Optimization Techniques Approximation Algorithms Optimization Problem Types Structural Optimization Allocation Problems Basics of Optimization Bio-inspired Optimization Dynamic Programming It is expected that every chapter is dedicated to a major and minor aspect/concept/term of the optimization, and will be explained in a concise yet complete manner. The chapter will be reviewed and published as soon as accepted. The chapter length is supposed to be approximately 5 pages. Submission by August 1, 2025. The chapter will be reviewed as soon as received and published right after the acceptance. Every chapter is expected to have the following points (you are free to make modifications in the following points): 1. Synonyms 2. The Definition 3. Overview and Fundamentals 4. Mathematical Formulation and Description 5. Types/Classification (if any) 6. Summary of Applications 7. Discussion/Elaboration on at least one specific application 8. Figures, Sketches, Tables, etc. wherever necessary 9.
